If you are a fresher, AWS and DevOps is a practical way into cloud work. Companies run their applications on cloud platforms, and they need people who can build, deploy and look after them. This guide explains what the skills are, who the course suits, and how to decide.
What the job needs
Cloud and DevOps roles use a set of tools together. Most beginners start with:
- Linux: the command line and server basics
- AWS (Amazon Web Services): the cloud platform most companies use
- Docker: packaging an application so it runs the same way anywhere
- Kubernetes: running and scaling many containers
- Terraform and Ansible: setting up servers and infrastructure with code
- CI/CD pipelines: automating builds, tests and releases

- Syllabus: does it list the tools above, and are the labs hands-on?
- Projects: will you build something you can show in an interview?
- Placement support: what does it include? Ours includes resume preparation, mock interviews and introductions to our network of hiring partners.
- Batch options: can you attend classroom or online, and at what times?
