Quest Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join the team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and related frameworks. 📌 Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, code, and debug software applications using Java

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code

• Build robust solutions aligned with industry best practices

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

• Assist in delivering complete application modules and system integrations

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct comprehensive testing for reliability and performance

• Perform root-cause analysis and fix software defects

• Ensure code quality through consistent code reviews

Documentation

• Create user manuals, technical documents, and development guides

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for moderately complex projects

Support & Debugging

• Provide support for day-to-day development issues

• Debug and resolve software issues efficiently

📌 Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

• OR Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Java Developer

• Strong command of Java and OOP principles

• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar Java frameworks

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end basics

• Proficiency in Angular / AngularJS (Mandatory)

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, NoSQL, and relational databases

• Understanding of UI design principles

• Experience using cloud platforms (e.g., PCF)

DevOps & Tools

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Tools: Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef

Methodologies

• Experience with Scrum, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
